I can’t believe we are almost there. Just six and a half short hours away!
While traveling back from Skagway today, we decided to stop at the Yukon Suspension bridge, just inside the Canadian Border. It was a very cool thing to do. The workers there were friendly and helpful. They made sure we felt comfortable walking across the 60 foot chasm over the rapids. The kids were able to all walk across it and they had a lot of fun. If you are ever driving through here or have a chance to go over it, you should!
We had some more bumpy roads today, which the kids though were awesome. We saw a glacier, and hiked up to it. It cost $50 for our whole family to get to it, but it was pretty amazing to see a glacier up that close.
We had a great day today, although it was very long and our dashcam didn’t record the roller coaster roads from Haines Junction to the border. Here are some great pictures and a couple videos.
