Pretty Scary Fire in Washington

We drove through this fire, not far from Wenatchee, and it got a little hairy. I took some video and some pictures and a woman there said she lived in a house that was being burned and was yelling at me for taking pictures and videos. It was really sad, because obviously she was hurting and didn’t know how to deal with that. There were many other people taking pictures, but she singled me out to yell at. I hope her house is ok and that she was able to make it to her house. If you’re reading, lady in the blue pickup, my family and I are praying for you, your home, and your friends and family.

They closed this road probably right after we drive through this scary part. As you can hear in the video, it was certainly not safe. I’m not sure backing up or stopping was safe, either, but oh well.
