Day 9 – Fort Nelson to Watson Lake

Another beautiful drive today. We had some road construction on the way which made for a slow go, but other than that, it was great. Today was the first day that I thought about the road. Every other day has been just fine. There were some loose gravel areas and the construction, but overall, the roads are still on great shape. We saw lots of animals today, too. Lots of bears, fifteen(!) in fact, a herd of buffalo, and some caribou. The only animal left to see that I am excited about is a moose. We also went to Liard River hit springs. It was is much fun, but I still haven’t cooled down yet! 20140721-234703-85623959.jpg 20140721-234702-85622639.jpg 20140721-234704-85624316.jpg 20140721-234702-85622087.jpg

  1. That was AWESOME!!! I would have to say that was the best video so far. Especially with Staci laughing in the background about the buffalo. That was amazing to see that herd. Cool that you also saw a bunch of bears! I am sure you will see a moose sometime. I hope you get it on film. Love you guys. Drive safely.

    • Loved this video. Those Stone sheep are so cool. You will also see Dall (all white big horn sheep) in Alaska. Glad you ticket was not too much. Ana and I got a $1,400 one in Oregon a couple of years ago.

      • $1400 for a ticket? That would probably give me a heart attack right now!
